Developed from the T-37 trainer, the A-37 Dragonfly added a GAU-2B/A 7.62mm minigun, wingtip drop tanks, three weapon stations under each wing, stronger landing gear, and more powerful J85 engines. The A-37A was known by pilots as the “Super Tweet.”
