About the U.S.S. Ingraham:

The USS Ingraham (FFG-61) was launched in June 1988 as the final Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate of the U.S. Navy. This class was purchased in the 1970s and 1980s as a general-purpose escort vessel, and was designed to replace aging WWII-era destroyers. The frigate is 138.1m long (a long-hull version) and has a displacement of 4100 tons. It carries a pair of SH-60 Seahawk helicopters, while the RAST (Recovery Assist Securing and Traversing) system, a hook and winch, can reel in a Seahawk in flight.
