About HMS Hood

HMS Hood was a battlecruiser of the Royal Navy and one of the most famous warships in British naval history. Commissioned in 1920, she was the pride of the Royal Navy and the largest warship in the world for nearly two decades. In her 1941 configuration, Hood featured updated radar and fire control systems. This PE set captures the intricate details of the ship as she appeared just before her tragic loss during the Battle of the Denmark Strait in May 1941, when she was sunk by the German battleship Bismarck.
