About USS Missouri BB-63

The USS Missouri, affectionately known as "Mighty Mo," served as the site of Japan's surrender in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945, ending World War II. This Iowa-class battleship continued service through the Korean War and was recommissioned in the 1980s, seeing action in Operation Desert Storm before being decommissioned in 1992. Today, she serves as a museum ship at Pearl Harbor.
