The Panhard EBR-ETT (Engin Transporteur De Troupes - Troop Transport Vehicle) was a specialized variant of the famous Panhard EBR reconnaissance vehicle family. Using many components from the EBR 75 FL 10 and FL 11 armored cars, the ETT was designed to transport infantry alongside reconnaissance units, carrying one crew member plus 14 fully equipped troops. At least 28 ETTs were produced by 1956 and sold to Portugal, where they saw extensive service during the Portuguese Colonial War in Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau. The ETT's eight-wheeled configuration provided excellent mobility across difficult terrain, while its armored protection kept troops safe during transport to and from combat zones.
