  4. Remove supports starting from the tip down and start by freeing those supports connected to small and fragile details.
  5. Recommend using CA for attaching item to model or filling any imperfections.

    Historical Reference

    The 2000 lb AP Mk I features a forged steel body with a solid nose approximately 1.9 ft. long, tapering from maximum diameter to the tail. The base is threaded externally for a tail adapter and internally for a base adapter receiving the exploder container. The fuze is secured by a fuze securing ring.

    Tail variants include the No. 1 Mk I (aluminum alloy, cylindrical strut with four vanes), the No. 15 Mk I (steel, with strengthening ring and wing bolt attachment), and the No. 47 Mk I (cylindrical strut with four riveted fins and a reach rod through the tail cone). The bomb is suspended from the aircraft via two suspension bands.
