Application Tips

Airbrushing

Thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner for controlled application. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish.

Brush painting

For smoother brushwork, use Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114. Before the paint cures, it can be removed with plain water.

Additional Information

Tamiya X colors have a glossy finish, while XF colors have a flat finish. This bottle contains one color for use with compatible scale-model projects.
