Using Tamiya XF-59

Airbrushing and thinning

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya items 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077 are also listed for airbrushing use. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish.

Brush painting and finish control

For smoother brush strokes, use Tamiya Paint Retarder item 87114. Tamiya X-21 Flat Base items 81521 and 81021 can flatten gloss bottle paints when mixed as directed by the manufacturer.
