Thinning and Application
Airbrushing
- Thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner (items 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077)
- Tamiya Lacquer Thinner gives faster drying and a harder finish
Brush Painting
- Tamiya Paint Retarder (item 87114) helps produce a smoother, brushstroke-free finish
- Tamiya X-21 Flat Base (items 81021, 81521) can flatten gloss X colors at a 1:1 ratio
