Vallejo Model Air Fire Red is a matt, water-based acrylic paint for modelers who need an airbrush-ready red for aircraft, vehicles, and military subjects. It can also be applied by brush when a controlled finish is needed.

Application

Airbrushing

Use Model Air directly from the bottle or thin it with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. For airbrushing, a compressor pressure of about 15–20 PSI, or 0.5–1 kg, is recommended. Apply several light layers over a primed surface.

Brush Application

Although formulated for airbrushing, this paint can also be applied with a brush. Allow each layer to dry before adding the next coat.
