Wiring and Layout Notes
When using LED signals, use a common positive anode connection for all LEDs. The signal should have four wires, with the common connection going to [+]. Most, but not all, signal manufacturers follow this design.
Detection circuits such as the Circuitron BD-1, BD-2, or BD-3 provide the logic-low output needed for a minimum of two blocks to display all three aspects.
