A.MIG-0257 Azure Blue is a water-based acrylic modeling paint from AMMO by Mig Jimenez, supplied in a 17mL jar. Azure Blue was used on the lower surfaces of RAF aircraft during the WWII North African campaign, including the Spitfire and Hurricane.
Color and Finish
The shade is matched to the real color and slightly lightened for a scale reduction effect, so it reads correctly on a finished model rather than looking too dark.
Using This Paint
The formula is optimized for both brush painting and airbrushing. Each jar includes a stainless-steel agitator to help remix the pigment, so shake well before every use. For airbrush work, AMMO recommends thinning with AMMO acrylic thinners and cleaners. Complete drying takes about 24 hours.
