The Bachmann Thunder Chief is a complete HO scale ready-to-run train set built around a DCC sound-equipped F7-A diesel locomotive. It suits HO modelers who want a digitally controlled starter layout with working sound straight out of the box.

Sound and Digital Control

The F7-A diesel is factory equipped with a 16-bit polyphonic sound package featuring a prototypical prime mover, three air horns, and a bell. Sound and speed are controlled through the included E-Z Command® digital control system.
