Bob Smith Industries Maxi-Cure Extra Thick CA is a strong, gap-filling cyanoacrylate adhesive for scale modelers, R/C builders, and hobbyists. Its extra-thick formula bonds a wide range of materials and can be carved, sanded, and feathered after curing.

Compatible Applications

Use Maxi-Cure for plastic model assembly, R/C car tire bonding, fiberglass repair, and archery fletching. It is also useful as a gap-filling putty alternative when used with an accelerator, curing hard enough to carve and sand.

Usage Instructions

Unscrew the nozzle cap and attach the extender tip for finer applications. Apply the adhesive to one side of the parts, then hold them together for 10–20 seconds. For larger bonding areas, apply serpentine beads with spacing to help the adhesive spread. Use an accelerator on any CA that squeezes from the joint. Full strength is reached in approximately three hours. Wipe the nozzle clean before replacing the cap, refrigerate to extend shelf life, and clean the extender tip by soaking it in acetone.
