Maxi-Cure Extra Thick CA from Bob Smith Industries is a high-strength adhesive for scale modelers and hobbyists. Its extra-thick viscosity excels at gap filling, void repair, and bonding a wide range of materials.

Applications

Maxi-Cure is widely used in plastic model assembly, R/C car tire bonding, and archery fletching (vanes onto aluminum and carbon arrow shafts). It is also effective for bonding fiberglass surfaces; lightly scuff the bonding area with coarse sandpaper before application for best adhesion.

Usage instructions

Unscrew the top from the nozzle. For finer applications, use the included extender tip. Apply Maxi-Cure to one side of the parts being joined, then hold firmly together for 10 to 20 seconds. For larger areas, apply in serpentine beads with spacing to allow spreading. Spray Insta-Set Accelerator to cure any adhesive that oozes from joints. Wipe the nozzle clean before replacing the cap. Refrigerate to extend shelf life. Soak the extender tip in acetone for cleaning.
