Thinning and application

Brush painting

Mix one part Mr. Color paint with 0.8 to 1 part thinner as needed for your brush-painting technique.

Airbrushing

Mix one part Mr. Color paint with 1 to 2 parts thinner, adjusting for your airbrush, nozzle, and spraying conditions.

Use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner. Do not thin this paint with Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION solvent.

Paint compatibility

  • Aqueous Hobby Color and ACRYSION can be applied over a coat of Mr. Color.
  • Mr. Color should not be applied over a coat of Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION.
  • Do not mix it with Aqueous Hobby Color, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy 'N Dressy Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.
