C108 Mr. Color Semi-Gloss Character Red is a lacquer-based hobby paint for adding a rich red finish to scale models. It is intended for modelers who need a semi-gloss character red that can be applied by brush or airbrush.

Paint details

  • Material: Lacquer-based hobby paint.
  • Color and finish: Character Red, semi-gloss.
  • Scale: Not scale-specific; suitable for scale model projects.
  • Compatibility: Use with Mr. Color thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner. Mr. Color can be applied over AQUEOUS HOBBY COLOR and ACRYSION after they have dried, but those water-based products should not be applied over Mr. Color.
  • Contents and set size: One 10 ml bottle of C108 Character Red paint.
  • Important details: Do not mix with AQUEOUS HOBBY COLOR, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy 'N DRESSY Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.

Application

Brush painting

For brush application, thin at approximately 1 part paint to 0.8–1 part Mr. Color thinner.

Airbrushing

For airbrushing, thin at approximately 1 part paint to 1–2 parts Mr. Color thinner. Adjust the ratio for your airbrush, pressure, and finish.
