C159 Mr. Color Super Silver is a metallic lacquer paint for modelers who need a bright silver finish on scale vehicles, aircraft, and other hobby subjects. Use it for brush painting or airbrushing with the recommended Mr. Color thinners.

  • Material: Lacquer paint for model finishing.
  • Color: Super Silver, C159.
  • Scale: Not applicable; intended for scale models.
  • Compatibility: Thin with Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner. Mr. Color can be applied over Aqueous Hobby Color and ACRYSION after they have cured.
  • Contents: One 10 mL bottle.

Application and Compatibility

Painting

For brush painting, start with approximately 1 part Mr. Color to 0.8–1 part Mr. Color Thinner. For airbrushing, start with 1 part paint to 1–2 parts Mr. Color Thinner, then adjust for your equipment and finish.

Layering

Do not thin this paint with Thinner for Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION Solvent. Mr. Color should not be applied over Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION. It cannot be mixed with Aqueous Hobby Color, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy 'N Dressy Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.
