Application and compatibility

Thinning ratios

  • Brush painting: Mix at approximately 1 part paint to 0.8–1 part thinner.
  • Airbrushing: Mix at approximately 1 part paint to 1–2 parts thinner.

Use Mr. Color thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner. Do not thin this paint with Tamiya Aqueous Hobby Color thinner or ACRYSION solvent.

Layering and mixing

Aqueous Hobby Color and ACRYSION can be applied over a cured coat of Mr. Color. Do not apply Mr. Color over Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION. Do not mix this paint with Aqueous Hobby Color, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy 'N Dressy Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.
