C050 Mr. Color Gloss Clear Blue is a solvent-based lacquer paint from GSI Creos Mr. Hobby for modelers finishing aircraft, vehicle, and other scale-model projects. It provides a clear blue gloss finish when used with the recommended thinner.

Product Details

  • Material: Solvent-based lacquer paint.
  • Color and finish: Clear blue, gloss.
  • Scale: Suitable for scale models; no scale-specific limitation.
  • Compatibility: For model kits, including aircraft and vehicle subjects. Use with Mr. Color thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner.
  • Contents: One 10 ml bottle.

Mixing and Application

Brush painting

Mix at a ratio of 1 part paint to 0.8–1 part Mr. Color thinner.

Airbrushing

Mix at a ratio of 1 part paint to 1–2 parts Mr. Color thinner. Mr. Color thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner can be used for dilution.

Layering and paint compatibility

  • Aqueous Hobby Color and ACRYSION can be applied over a coat of Mr. Color.
  • Mr. Color cannot be applied over a coat of Aqueous Hobby Color or ACRYSION.
  • Do not mix this paint with Aqueous Hobby Color, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy 'N Dressy Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.
