Thinning and Compatibility

  • For brush painting, use an approximate 1:0.8–1.0 paint-to-thinner ratio.
  • For airbrushing, use an approximate 1:1–2 paint-to-thinner ratio.
  • Use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner.
  • Do not thin with Aqueous Hobby Color thinner or ACRYSION solvent.
  • Aqueous Hobby Color and ACRYSION can be applied over a cured coat of Mr. Color, but Mr. Color should not be applied over those finishes.
  • Do not mix with Aqueous Hobby Color, ACRYSION, ACRYSION Base Colors, Classy ’N Dressy Colors, or Mr. Metal Color.
