The Circuitron DT-4 is a versatile, four-circuit opto-electronic detection system designed for model railroad layouts of any scale. Whether monitoring hidden staging yards or controlling automated track sections, the DT-4 delivers reliable, independent detection for powered and unpowered rolling stock.

• Each output controls up to 250 mA DC accessories or lamps
• Requires 6–20V DC power source (filtered or regulated recommended)

Applications

The DT-4 excels in hidden staging yard monitoring, blind siding detection, and panel lamp indication. Opto-sensors placed at track intervals allow operators to track train progress on a control panel even when trains are completely out of sight.

Outputs can trigger panel lights, warning buzzers, or relays to cut track power. The DT-4 integrates seamlessly with other Circuitron products including the AR-2 Automatic Reverse Circuit, Time Delay circuits, and Turnout Controls.
