Compatibility Notes

The No.5® is a direct upgrade for most factory HO rolling stock and locomotives. It is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox, as this may cause electrical crossover and shorting. For insulated applications, use the Kadee #28 coupler.
