This HO scale accessory set is for model railroaders fitting medium overset knuckle couplers. It combines Kadee #142 Whisker metal couplers with insulated gearboxes and spare knuckle springs for compatible installations.

Product details

  • Scale: HO
  • Material: Metal couplers with snap-together gearboxes and lids
  • Shank: Medium overset, 9/32 inch
  • Compatibility: Interchangeable with Kadee #22 and most manufacturers' medium overset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #32 equivalent, use the #142 in a #252 gearbox.
  • Package contents: Two pairs of #142 Whisker metal couplers, two pairs of #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids, and two spare #622 knuckle springs.
  • Important: Do not use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox. Use the provided insulated gearbox or an insulated #22 coupler to help avoid electrical crossover and shorting.
