Product Details

  • Scale: HO scale
  • Material: Metal couplers with snap-together gearboxes and lids
  • Compatibility: Interchangeable with Kadee® #23 and most manufacturers’ short centerset OEM knuckle couplers. Using a #143 in a #252 gearbox provides a #33 equivalent.
  • Package contents: Two pairs of #143 Whisker® metal couplers, two pairs of #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids, and two spare #622 knuckle springs
  • Important detail: Do not use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox. Use the provided insulated gearbox or an insulated #23 coupler to help prevent electrical crossover and shorting.
