• Compatibility: Interchangeable with Kadee No. 5®, #28, #58, #118, #119, #158, and most manufacturers’ medium-centerset OEM knuckle couplers. For a #38 equivalent, use the #148 in a #252 gearbox. The #148 is also a direct replacement for most Bachmann On30 couplers.
• Contents: Two pairs of #148 Whisker® metal couplers, two pairs of #242 snap-together gearboxes and lids, and two spare #622 knuckle springs.
• Important detail: Avoid using a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox, as electrical crossover and shorting may cause damage. Use the included insulated gearbox or an insulated #28 coupler.
