Coupler: #22 Magne-Matic plastic coupler with metal knuckle and medium overset shank.
Compatibility: The coupler may be mounted with the included #213 or #232 gearboxes, or with most other manufacturers' cast-on coupler pockets.
Components: Includes #634 No. 5 style centering springs, #212 Talgo truck adaptors, and #622 knuckle springs.

The set includes an insulated draft gearbox and lid. Kadee does not recommend using a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox, because electrical crossover and shorting may cause damage.
