Thinning and Airbrushing

For airbrushing, use Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner may also be used for faster drying and a harder finish.

  • To reduce the gloss, add Tamiya X-21 Flat Base at the recommended ratio.
  • For smoother brushstrokes, use Tamiya Paint Retarder.
