Mr. Hobby H048 Gloss Field Gray (2) is a 10ml, water-based acrylic paint for scale models. Its mild solvent formula works for brush painting or airbrushing and dries to a gloss finish.

Application and Thinning

  • Use for brush painting or airbrushing.
  • For brush painting, dilution is generally not necessary; one to two coats are recommended.
  • For airbrushing, dilute with 100% to 150% Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner T-110 or T-111; two to three coats are recommended.
  • The paint can be diluted with water, and brushes can be cleaned with water before the paint dries.
  • For a matte finish, mix approximately 5% H-40 Flat Base. For a semi-gloss finish, mix 5% to 10%.
