SM206 Mr. Color Super Chrome Silver 2 is a 10 ml solvent-based acrylic paint from GSI Creos. Its fine metallic particles create a bright chrome-like finish on plastic scale-model surfaces.
Application

Brush painting: This low-viscosity color may be used without thinning or thinned as needed.

Airbrushing: Thin with one of the recommended Mr. Color thinners at approximately one part paint to one or two parts thinner.

Recommended thinners: Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Color Leveling Thinner, or Mr. Color Rapid Thinner.

Do not use: Thinner for Aqueous Hobby Color or Acrysion solvent.
Compatibility and Mixing
- Can be mixed with Mr. Color, Mr. Color GX, Mr. Color 40th Anniversary, Mr. Clear Color, Mr. Crystal Color, Mr. Metallic Color, and Lascivus.
- Do not mix with Aqueous Hobby Color, Acrysion, Acrysion Base Colors, or Classy'n Dressy Colors.
- Aqueous Hobby Color and Acrysion can be applied over a cured Mr. Color coat. Mr. Color should not be applied over Aqueous Hobby Color or Acrysion.
Application Tips
- Apply one to two coats by brush or two to three coats by airbrush.
- Allow each coat to dry for several hours before applying the next coat.
- For the strongest metallic effect, apply Mr. Color or Mr. Color Spray Black Gloss as a base coat before SM206.
- Stir the paint well when thinning and during application because fine metallic particles settle easily.
- For SM206, seal the painted surface with TOPCOAT. Aqueous Clear or Acrysion Clear may also be applied as described by the manufacturer.
- Test the paint on a sample surface before applying it to the model.
