Rapido Trains HO Scale ALCo PA-1 + PB-1 Diesel Locomotive Set - Union Pacific #607 + 607B

The popular ALCo PA and PB series returns for a second run! Following the success of the first run, Rapido is pleased to offer new schemes and variations. On this run you'll notice certain roads now have the larger flat number boards as well as the original side boards. New pilots will also grace the front of select models.

Scale and Model

This is an HO scale model set featuring an ALCo PA-1 (A unit) and a PB-1 (B unit) diesel locomotive set, in the Union Pacific "Armour Yellow" paint scheme with gray and red lettering, road numbers #607 and #607B.

Electronics and Sound

The set comes with a factory-installed ESU LokSound V5 Decoder which provides full DCC functionality and accurate, high-quality sounds recorded from the prototype. The models can also operate on a standard DC layout.

Prototype Accuracy

The models feature correct nose and roof profiles, which were generated using a 3D laser scan of a preserved prototype unit to ensure accuracy. The models represent non-repowered versions with road-name specific details.

Construction & Details: Includes full underbody piping and conduit, separate factory-installed grab irons and handrails, and etched-metal grilles.

Interior: A fully detailed cab interior with a lighted control stand.

Drive System: Rapido's proven drive system with flywheels for smooth operation and Macdonald-Cartier knuckle couplers compatible with all magnetic knuckle couplers.
