Tamiya PS-55 Flat Clear for R/C Bodies

Tamiya PS-55 Flat Clear is a 100ml spray paint made for transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modeling. It is applied from inside the body shell to create a flat clear finish while preserving the body’s exterior surface.

Product Details

  • Material: Polycarbonate spray paint.
  • Scale: Not specified; intended for R/C car body shells.
  • Compatibility: Transparent polycarbonate R/C car bodies, including Tamiya body shells. Do not use on traditional plastic model kits.
  • Contents: One 100ml spray can, an appropriate amount for finishing one complete model with typical application.
  • Important detail: The cured paint resists oil and fuel, so it can be used on gas-powered R/C bodies.

Application

  1. Spray the inside of the clean, dry polycarbonate body shell.
  2. Hold the can about 30 cm from the surface while spraying.
  3. Allow the paint to cure, then apply another coat if needed.
