Tamiya PS-58 Pearl Clear is a 100ml spray paint made for transparent polycarbonate R/C car bodies. Apply it from inside the shell to create a pearl finish, not on traditional plastic model kits.

Product details

  • Scale: Not scale-specific; intended for R/C car bodies.
  • Compatibility: Transparent polycarbonate R/C car bodies. Use PS-58 before the color you want to make pearlescent.

  • Important: Do not use this paint on plastic model kits. After curing, it is resistant to oil and fuel and can be used on gas-powered R/C bodies.

Application

Spraying the body shell

Spray from about 30 cm away from the inside of the clean body shell. Allow the paint to cure, then apply another coat as needed.

Creating a pearl finish

Apply PS-58 first, then spray the desired color. For a pearl white effect, back PS-57 Pearl White with white. Browse the Tamiya polycarbonate paint collection for related colors.
