This massive model depicts the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, CVN-65, as it appeared following its 1982 refit. A flagship piece in the Tamiya 1/350 Scale Warship Series, this kit delivers exceptional engineering and an extraordinary level of detail throughout.

Historical Background

Commissioned in 1961, the USS Enterprise was nicknamed the "Big E" and was the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. This assembly kit depicts the ship as she appeared after she completed her refit in 1982. The kit features excellent engineering and a high level of detail throughout, with approximately one hundred parts used to recreate the bridge alone.
