TS-083 Tamiya Metallic Silver is a synthetic lacquer spray paint for modelers creating aluminum-style finishes on aircraft and other plastic model surfaces.

Compatibility: Plastic model surfaces. This paint is not designed for clear polycarbonate or Lexan R/C body shells.
Application Notes
- For best results, apply TS-14 BLACK as an undercoat directly to the plastic model, not over a primer surface.
- Applying TS-083 directly to plastic may produce an uneven finish, and the paint may lift when masking tape is removed.
- Do not apply a clear coat over this paint. Take care when applying masks to protect the painted surface.
- Tamiya TS spray paint cures quickly. After the main painting is complete, add detail with enamel or acrylic paints.
