Vallejo Mecha Color Blue (69019) is an 18ml satin acrylic paint made for airbrushing mecha, sci-fi, and figure models. It is built for surfaces that get handled a lot, so the finish stays put on kits that are posed, moved, and displayed often.

Airbrushing Tips

Thinning and Pressure

Mecha Color can be sprayed straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. A working pressure of roughly 15 to 20 PSI suits most detail and panel work.

Building Coats

Apply several light coats over a primed surface rather than one heavy pass. Thin layers keep panel lines and fine surface detail crisp, and the paint cures to an even, tough coating within a few hours.
