Vallejo Metal Color 77725 Gold is a ready-to-use, water-based metallic acrylic paint in a 32 ml bottle. It is made for scale modelers who want a bright metallic finish on aircraft, armor, figures, and other display models without switching to enamels or lacquers.

How to Use It

Airbrushing

Apply directly from the bottle or thinned. Vallejo recommends compressor settings of roughly 15-20 psi. The paint dries quickly and self-levels into a smooth, durable layer that preserves fine surface detail.

Priming and Masking

For aircraft and other airframes, a gloss black primer underneath brings out the reflectivity of the metallic shades. Wait about 12 hours after painting before applying masks.

Mixing and Cleanup

Metal Color can be tinted in the airbrush cup with Model Air or Game Air colors. Clean the airbrush with Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
