Vallejo Mecha Color Brown Engine Soot (Matt) 18ml is an acrylic paint for scale modelers adding engine grime, exhaust staining, and other weathering effects. Apply it by airbrush or brush to primed plastic surfaces while retaining fine surface detail.

Product details

  • Material: Acrylic paint with a matt finish. The formula is solvent-free and nonflammable.
  • Scale: Not scale-specific, and suitable for common scale model projects.
  • Compatibility: Designed for plastic model surfaces and Mecha Color projects, including detailed aircraft, vehicle, and miniature builds.
  • Contents: One 18ml (0.57 fl oz) eyedropper bottle.
  • Application: Use by airbrush or brush. For airbrushing, Vallejo recommends 15–20 PSI; build the color in several light layers over a primed surface.

Use and care

Thin the paint with Vallejo Auxiliaries Airbrush Thinner 32ml or Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver 18ml when needed. Clean the airbrush with Vallejo Auxiliaries Airbrush Cleaner 85ml.
