Vallejo Model Air Grey 71.047 is a matt, water-based acrylic paint for modelers who need a controlled grey finish on military scale models. It is formulated for airbrushing and can also be applied with a brush.

Application

Airbrush use

Apply Model Air directly or thin it with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver when needed. Prime the surface first, then build the color in several light layers. A compressor pressure of 15–20 PSI, or 0.5–1 kg, is recommended for airbrushing. Use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner for airbrush maintenance.

Brush use

Model Air can also be applied with a brush when the project calls for hand-painted detail or touch-ups. The fast-drying paint forms a uniform film while preserving fine surface detail.
