Use and compatibility

For airbrushing, Tamiya lists thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077. Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner can thin the paint. X-21 Flat Base can flatten gloss colors when mixed at a 1:1 ratio, and Tamiya Paint Retarder item 87114 can help produce smoother brushwork.
