Application Tips

  • For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya Acrylic Thinner items 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077.
  • Tamiya X-21 Flat Base items 81521 and 81021 can flatten Tamiya gloss bottle paints. A 1:1 mixing ratio is suggested in the product information.
  • Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can also be used for airbrushing when a faster-drying, harder finish is desired.
  • Tamiya Paint Retarder item 87114 can help produce a smoother brush finish.
