Application Notes

Brushing and Airbrushing

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish. For smoother brushwork, use Tamiya Paint Retarder, item 87114.

Adjusting the Finish

Use Tamiya X-21 Flat Base with Tamiya X-series gloss bottle paints when a flatter finish is needed. A 1:1 mixing ratio is recommended.
