Application Tips

  • For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or compatible Tamiya thinners, including items 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077.
  • For a smoother brush finish, use Tamiya Paint Retarder item 87114.
  • Tamiya X-21 Flat Base can flatten Tamiya gloss bottle paints. Follow the product directions and test the mixture before use.
  • Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish when used for airbrushing. Follow the thinner manufacturer instructions.
