Application and thinning

Brush or airbrush use

For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can produce faster drying and a harder finish. For smoother brush strokes, use Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114.

Mixing and cleanup

Tamiya X-21 Flat Base can flatten Tamiya gloss colors when mixed at a 1:1 ratio. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with plain water.
