Application notes

Brush painting and airbrushing

Thin for airbrushing with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can produce faster drying and a harder finish. For smoother brushwork, use Tamiya Paint Retarder, item 87114.

Finish adjustment

Tamiya X-21 Flat Base, items 81521 or 81021, can flatten Tamiya gloss bottle paints. Use the manufacturer’s directions and test mixtures before applying to a finished model.
