Application Notes

For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or one of the verified Tamiya thinner options, Items 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077. Tamiya X-21 Flat Base, Items 81521 and 81021, can flatten gloss bottle paints at a 1:1 mixing ratio. Tamiya Paint Retarder, item 87114, can help produce a smoother brush finish. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish when used for airbrushing.
