Application and thinning

  • Use with a brush or airbrush.
  • For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish.
  • For smoother brush application, Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114 can help reduce visible brushstrokes.
  • When airbrushing, Tamiya lists thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077 for use with these paints.
