The M-32 incendiary bomb cluster holds a distinguished place in WWII ordnance history as a specialized weapon designed to deliver maximum incendiary effect against area targets. Incendiary bomb cluster M32 consists of cluster adapter M26 filled with 108 incendiary bombs AN-M50A3 which are fitted with three cluster ejection cartridges, two fuzes, and an arming wire. The cluster is approximately 60 inches long, 14 7/8 inches in diameter, and weighs approximately 617 pounds. Upon release from the aircraft, the cluster's ejection cartridges activate at a predetermined altitude, opening the cluster adapter and dispersing the 108 individual AN-M50A3 incendiary bombs over the target area. Each small incendiary bomb contains thermite or magnesium-based incendiary material that ignites upon impact, creating intense heat capable of starting fires in combustible materials.
Bomb cluster M32 is identical with the M31 except for slight differences in the cluster adapter and the type and number of bombs used. The M32's design ensured reliable dispersal of the submunitions while maintaining safe handling characteristics during loading, transportation, and carriage. Lightly sand and/or prime any horizontal striations due to the printing process. Remove supports starting from the tip down and start by freeing those supports connected to small and fragile details. Recommend using CA for attaching item to model or filling any imperfections. Item(s) will have features that are brittle or extremely delicate and prone to breaking if not properly handled. 3D print support configurations may be different than the ones in the photos if applicable. Photos may include the CAD rendered file used for printing to highlight details that do not stand out well in regular photos. Not intended for small children due to choking hazard and should only be purchased by experienced modelers due fine details and printer support removal.
