Application guidance

Airbrush thinning

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner. Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can also be used for faster drying and a harder finish. Compatible thinner references include 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077.

Brush painting

Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114 can help produce smoother brushstrokes. Before the paint cures, it can be washed away with plain water.
