Tamiya X-04 Blue is a 23ml water-soluble acrylic paint for modelers who need a smooth gloss finish by brush or airbrush. It works on common plastic model surfaces, including aircraft, vehicle, and other scale kits.

Using Tamiya X-04 Blue

Brush Painting

Apply the paint to a clean model surface and allow it to cure between coats. Tamiya Paint Retarder 87114 can help produce smoother brush coverage.

Airbrushing

For airbrushing, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Lacquer thinner can provide faster drying and a harder finish. Tamiya thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, and 87077 are also listed for use with this paint.

Product Details
